Withdrawal Refund Policy
Fall and Spring Semesters
- The 100% refund period is effective through the close of business on the 8th calendar day from the date classes begin.
- No tuition refunds are granted beginning on the 9th calendar day from the date classes begin, except in certain cases with medical, military, or other extenuating circumstances.

Transition to hybrid or online courses (including in-term transitions) will not result in a full or partial refund.
Summer Term
- The 100% refund for the Regular Summer Session, Session I and Session II is effective through close of business on the 2nd calendar day from the date classes begin.
- No tuition refunds are granted beginning on the 3rd day from the date classes begin, except in certain cases with medical, military, or other extenuating circumstances.
- Transition to hybrid or online courses (including in-term transitions) will not result in a full or partial refund.
Effect of Withdrawal on Residual Checks
If you have received a residual check and have or will withdraw from any course(s), you may owe a portion or all of the residual check amount back to the UNA Business Office. You may consult with Student Financial Services to determine the effects of withdrawing from any course(s).
