SACSCOC Credentials Guidelines:
 
1. Faculty teaching undergraduate general education and/or baccalaureate courses: Doctorate or Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or Master’s degree with a concentration in the discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
 
2. Faculty teaching graduate and post-baccalaureate course work: Earned Doctorate/ terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline (a minimum of 18 hours above the Master’s degree in the teaching discipline).
MU 577 Woodwind Ensemble (The study and performance of chamber music for woodwind instruments).
MU 680 Secondary Applied Music (Academic and artistic instruction in the develop of skills and materials of performance in an applied area of music other than the student's primary applied area.
MU 681 Applied Instrument (Academic and artistic instruction in the development of skills and materials of performance in a student's primary applied area of performance.
