1. Faculty teaching undergraduate general education and/or baccalaureate courses: Doctorate or Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or Master’s degree with a concentration in the discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
 
2. Faculty teaching graduate and post-baccalaureate course work: Earned Doctorate/ terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline (a minimum of 18 hours above the Master’s degree in the teaching discipline).
EED 603, Creating Inclusive Classroom Communities--advanced studies in the creation of an inclusive environment that supports learning for all students; EEX 340, Introduction to Students with Exceptional Learning Needs-studies of the education of students with exceptional needs; EEX 420, Assessment for Exceptional Learners-introduction to norm-referenced and curriculum based assessment instruments; EEX 440, High Incidence Exceptional Learning Needs-studies of effective collaborative teaching for students with high incidence exceptional learning needs; EEX 605, Survey of Students with Disabilities-advanced studies of major laws, services, procedures, and programs of special education; EEX 620, Special Education Assessment-advanced studies of assessments used in special education; EEX 642, Low-Incidence Exceptional Learning Needs-advanced studies of etiology, definitions, and characteristics of students with low-incident exceptional learning needs; EEX 653, Transitions in Special Education-advanced studies in principles and procedures that facilitate successful transitions for people with exceptional learning needs.
