Once the verbiage is approved below, it will be placed on the Micro-Credential page in the catalog:

*Existing degree seeking students who want to declare a Micro-Credential
Existing degree seeking students can also declare a micro-credential in addition to their degree program. Although some coursework can overlap and be double counted between a degree program and a micro-credential, a minimum of 50% of the micro-credential coursework must be original and cannot overlap with coursework completed towards a degree.

*Students who have earned a previous degree who want to declare a Micro-Credential
Students who have earned a previous degree(s) can be admitted as a non-degree seeking student to declare a micro-credential. Although some coursework can overlap and be double counted between a previously earned degree and a micro-credential, a minimum of 50% of the micro-credential coursework must be original and cannot overlap with coursework completed from a previous degree.

*Students who want to declare more than one Micro-Credential
Students can complete more than one micro-credential. Although some coursework can overlap and be double counted between micro-credentials, a minimum of 50% of the micro-credential coursework must be original and cannot overlap with coursework completed from another micro-credential.

*Micro-Credentials will not be retroactively awarded.
