SACSCOC Credentials Guidelines:
 
1. Faculty teaching undergraduate general education and/or baccalaureate courses: Doctorate or Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or Master’s degree with a concentration in the discipline (a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
 
2. Faculty teaching graduate and post-baccalaureate course work: Earned Doctorate/ terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline (a minimum of 18 hours above the Master’s degree in the teaching discipline).
AC 292, Accounting Concepts II, A continuation of AC 291 with emphasis on the analysis and interpretation of accounting information, including cash flows. Coverage of financial accounting for manufacturing organizations, as well as basic managerial accounting decision making concepts consisting of cost-volume-profit analysis and budgetary control.;
AC 391, Intermediate Accounting I, Corporation accounting with emphasis on the accounting process, the preparation of financial statements and related schedules, and the accounting for fixed assets, inventories, and receivables.;
AC 651, Not-for-Profit Accounting, Special Topics course on non-for-profit accounting.
Accy 603, Seminar in Contemporary Taxation, (3 hours); Accy 605, Cost/Managerial Accounting, (3 hours); Accy 609, Systems Seminar, (3 hours); Accy 702, Seminar in Contemporary Accting Theory, (3 hours); Accy 713, Sem. in Audit & Accounting Info Systems, (3 hours); Accy 714, Sem in Fin Accounting & Capital Markets, (3 hours).
