Southern Studies Minor
Requirements for a Minor in Southern Studies
Students will complete 18 hours in Southern Studies. At least six of the 12 hours of Southern Studies electives must be taken outside of the student’s major area.

Special Topics: Various departments will sometimes schedule a special topics course focusing on a Southern Studies topic. These courses will be cross-listed with SS 490 and may be taken to fulfill the “Elective Courses” requirement for this minor.
