Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Rhetoric and Composition

The Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Rhetoric and Compositon is a post-baccalaureate program designed to give students who already hold a B.A. or a B.S. the opportunity to enroll in courses to earn a graduate certificate. The certificate will aid those already enrolled in graduate programs who wish to have more training in the theory, practice, and teaching of writing. The certificate will also aid students who wish to prepare for futures in the community college classroom or as members of terminal degree programs.

This certificate program requires 15 hours of credit. Students may transfer up to 3 hours of credit from another program to apply to the Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Rhetoric and Composition. Admission to the certificate program requires a formal application through the Office of Graduate Admissions.
