The undergraduate nursing department offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree through three tracks: the Traditional option, the Accelerated option, and the RN to BSN post-licensure option. These tracks are designed to meet the needs of students with varying educational backgrounds and career goals. The baccalaureate degree program in nursing/ master’s degree program in nursing/ Doctor of Nursing Practice program and post-graduate APRN certificate program at the University of North Alabama is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org), reflecting its commitment to high standards in nursing education.

The BSN program prepares students to become knowledgeable, skilled, and professional registered nurses capable of delivering safe and effective care in diverse healthcare settings. Graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), which is required for licensure and employment as a registered nurse.
