The Kitchen and Bath Design certificate combines existing CIDA and NASAD accredited, and National Kitchen and Bath association affiliated, interior design courses to teach skills and technology related to the thriving kitchen and bath industry. Students will develop the following skills; hand drafting, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 2020, space planning, kitchen and bath industry product knowledge, lighting and mechanical systems, and kitchen and bath construction technology. This certificate would be appropriate for students interested in drafting, architecture, interior design, property management, real estate, construction/management, showroom management, etc. Students will also have the opportunity to travel to Design + Construction Week each year. This certificate is offered to both degree-seeking students as well as non-degree seeking students desiring professional or personal advancement. Non-degree seeking students will be admitted to the University via established admission guidelines.
